changeset [270] should be merged from ticket #78 to 1.4.13 branch, it was merged to 1.5, but lost again.

it is not just OSX problem but issue on any platform, so please merge it ;)

Applying the changeset 270 to 1.4.12 will break compiling of server.c. Reason: - handler_t r;

If you remove that from the change-set, compiling of server.c succeeds.

IMHO just [239] should be merged.
